The Sunburst Adventures whitewater rafting outpost is situated on 30 wooded and peaceful acres on Welcome Valley Road in Ocoee, located in the southeastern corner of Tennessee. We’re near the Ocoee River (the lower river flows by the outpost just across the road), yet distanced from noisy traffic. Upon your arrival, you’ll be granted access to all of our amenities, which include a spacious bathhouse with showers, a large sun deck for catching a few rays, covered pavilion with picnic tables and charcoal grills, beach volleyball court, and basketball hoop. New in 2008 are several campsites near the main trip building, call for rates and details.

Outfitter Shop
Don’t forget to check out our newly expanded outfitter store for fabulous photographic memories of your whitewater rafting trip on the Ocoee River. The Outfitter shop features cool t-shirts, hats, shorts, stickers, key chains, and various other trinkets that will serve as wonderful souvenirs of your Ocoee River experience with Sunburst Adventures. Stop in for a cool drink, and escape the summer heat as you see yourself in action rafting the challenging whitewater of the Ocoee River. Take a little bit of the Ocoee River home with you.

The Sunburst Bunkhouse
The rustic Sunburst Bunkhouse is a great lodging option for sizable groups that wish to stay in the Ocoee River area overnight and have more time for multiple activities in the area. The bunkhouse is a good step between the roughing it of camping and staying in an all amenities provided cabin. The bunkhouse is divided into four rooms, two of which sleep 12 people each, and two that sleep 14 people each. Sleeping arrangements are set up in true bunkhouse fashion with stacked bunk beds. We provide the bunks and the mattress pads, but groups are encouraged to bring their own bedding and pillows. Not all is roughing it though, as each room has its own heating and air unit. The bunkhouse, with its full length porch, is a great place to hang out and bond with your group. The bunkhouse is an excellent, inexpensive option for youth groups, scout groups, fraternity and sorority groups, or even adult groups that want to have an authentic no frills experience. Cost is $12 per person, per night, with an 18 person minimum for two rooms.
