Middle Ocoee River
The Middle Ocoee River may be the most famous five miles of
whitewater rafting action in the entire country. The Middle
Ocoee River is characterized by almost continuous whitewater
rafting action from start to finish. Starting with the Ocoee
River #2 dam as its backdrop, the Ocoee River explodes into
action with “Grumpy”, and doesn’t let up till you’ve taken
on the infamous “Hell’s Hole” rapid at the end of the trip.
Scattered in between are twenty Class III-IV rapids that
provide some of the wettest, wildest whitewater rafting fun
in the Southeastern United States. Come see why over a
quarter of a million people annually choose the Middle Ocoee
River as their choice for whitewater rafting excitement. The
Middle Ocoee River trip is approximately 3.5 hours in
duration, with around two hours on the water. |

Upper Ocoee River
The Upper Ocoee River was chosen to be the venue for the
1996 Whitewater Canoe and Kayak Slalom Racing competition,
and there are some excellent reasons why. Their names are “Mikey’s”,
“Let’s Make A Deal”, “Godzilla”, “Roach Motel”, and the
awesome “Humongous”. The Upper Ocoee River isn’t just for
the pros; you can now challenge the same water that the
world’s best competed on with an unforgettable whitewater
rafting adventure. Although still classified a Class III-IV
five mile run, the Upper Ocoee River run features the “Big
Boy” rapids of the Ocoee River. The Upper is a great trip
for the experienced rafter, as well as the novice thrill
seeker. The Upper Ocoee River trip is 3.5 hours in duration,
with around two hours spent on the water. |

Tubing On the Lower
The Ocoee River is not all whitewater rafting adrenaline
charged madness. The Lower Ocoee River is the perfect place
to relax and kick back on a guide assisted tubing trip. Just
lay back and let the cool current take you on a relaxing,
peaceful float below the Ocoee #1 dam. The tree-lined
currents wind and meander through river bottom farmlands and
end up at our riverside takeout across the road from the
Sunburst outpost. This trip is suitable for ages 8 and up.
Trips are offered on all summer Tuesday and Wednesday
afternoons. Trips are not available on Saturdays, but other
days are often available on short notice. Call for further

a great option in combination with a Middle Ocoee River
whitewater rafting trip. Trip duration is usually 3 hours,
dependent on the amount of water discharge from the Ocoee #1
