The Ocoee River in Southeast Tennessee

The Ocoee River in Southeast Tennessee boasts five miles of America’s best commercial Whitewater Rafting. The Ocoee River is a whithin  a day’s drive of roughly half of the population of the eastern United States.  Located in the southeastern corner of Tennessee where the state borders North Carolina and Georgia the Ocoee River has over  thirty Class III-IV rapids over the ten miles found betweeen the Tennessee Valley Authority Ocoee Dam #3 put-in and the takeout located just west of the Tennessee Valley Authority Powerhouse #2. The Ocoee River is host to around 250,000 commercial Whitewater Rafting guests annually.
