To ensure your comfort, please dress for the occasion.
  • Swimsuit or quick drying shorts
  • T-shirt, tennis shoes that tie on to your feet (Teva type sandals are fine)
  • Wool sweater, socks and cap on cooler days (wetsuits/paddling suits will be available during spring and fall months); NOTE: Do not wear cotton on cool days; this includes jeans, t-shirts, and socks. Cotton can actually rob your body of heat.
  • Sunscreen
  • Towel for drying off at the end of the trip
  • Clothes to change into when you get off the river
  • Plastic bag for wet stuff
  • Small amount of money
  • If you've had a good time, our guides do accept gratuities
  • Do not bring large sums of money or valuables
  • If there are special medications that you may need, bring them
